Who runs this service

Operator details: pending.

Data we use

We use account details, billing status, product usage, device information, the IP addresses of your sign-up and sessions, and the wallet addresses you pay from to provide and secure the service.

How we use it

We use data to authenticate members, deliver alerts, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and communicate service updates. To prevent referral abuse, we compare the IP addresses, payer wallet addresses and email addresses of a referred member with those of the member who referred them. We do not sell personal information.

Eligibility declaration

When you create an account, you tick a declaration that you are 18 or older, that you do not live in Spain or in any country where using Arbistoteles or the sportsbooks it covers is illegal, and that you will not use a VPN, proxy or false details to get around these rules. We do not ask for your country of residence and we do not verify it.

We keep the version of the declaration you accepted, the date and time in UTC, the IP address you used and the country we work out from that IP address. We use this record to show which declaration you made when you joined and to defend ourselves against claims. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in being able to prove the conditions on which we accepted your account.

We keep the whole record while your account exists. When you delete your account, we erase the IP address and keep the rest of the record (version, date and time, and country) for five years, so that we can answer any claim about your account.

IP addresses and their country

We keep the IP address and browser of each session to protect your account and to check referrals, as described above. We keep them while your account exists and erase them when you delete your account.

We also keep a security log of important account events, such as each sign up, login and payment, with the IP address it came from. We use it to detect and investigate unauthorised access and fraud. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the service and your account secure. This log cannot be edited, so it is not erased when you delete your account: we keep the IP addresses in it for 12 months and then erase them.

We only work out a country from the IP address of your sign up, as part of the eligibility record; we do not work out or keep a country for your sessions.

To check referrals, our system compares IP addresses, payer wallet addresses and email addresses automatically. If it finds a match, the referral price may be refused automatically. You can ask a person to review that decision by writing to support@arbistoteles.com.

Newsletter

We only send you news and offers if you tick the newsletter box when you sign up. The box is optional, separate from the others and unticked. Legal basis: your consent. We keep a record of it with the date and time and the wording you accepted. You can withdraw it at any time from the link in each newsletter or by writing to support@arbistoteles.com, and withdrawing it does not affect your account. The provider that sends our emails: pending.

Free plan

Free accounts use the same account data as paid ones, except payment data. You need to verify your email address to use the free plan.

Your choices

You can change your email address or delete your account yourself on your account page. Deleting it ends every session, frees your email address, removes your login and erases the IP addresses of your sessions. We keep invoices, payments and blockchain transfers as financial records, the eligibility record without the IP address, and the security log for the time described above. For other questions about your account, email support@arbistoteles.com.

Your rights

To exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, email legal@arbistoteles.com. We reply within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, such as the one where you live or the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
